Linda has 20 years of experience as a Senior Transportation/ Transit Planner. As “a jack-of-all trades,” she has touched all modes of transportation at all levels of project implementation. Her broad range of experience has included capital expansion projects, transportation funding, and grant development, as well as station area planning, long range planning, and last mile project implementation.
Prior to entering the consulting industry, Linda worked for more than a decade in transportation planning at Northern California public agencies. Leveraging her perspective from both the agency side as well as the consulting side, Linda offers a unique perspective on complex projects and consistently seeks out innovative problem-solving techniques and best practice solutions.
The lion’s share of her career was spent launching a new commuter rail transit agency in North Bay. This project required strategic planning, forecasting, and an understanding of both local and national environmental processes. For example, after helping to procure a $20M federal small starts grant, Linda managed the environmental assessment (EA) for SMART’s Larkspur Extension, working closely with local jurisdictions and transit agencies.
Her experience includes a published paper on sketch model planning, extensive ArcGIS and Adobe Creative Suite experience, and involvement in the Bay Area chapter of WTS, where she serves on several committees.
